We don’t mean to be predictable, but simply put, we like beer. We enjoy the symbolism of a cold beer after a long day. Because let’s be honest, life as a hop farmer can mean some pretty long hours and grueling work.

Our life here in the Yakima Valley is one that allows us to work hard, play harder, and genuinely love this special corner of the world where the summers are hot and dry, sandwiched between snowy winters, and explosively beautiful springs.  Our intense climate produces bold aroma’s that make the Yakima Valley the premier growing region in the World.

We’re a family-farm with a dedication to living in the heart of the hop industry, which to us means staying true to the passion of brewers and the best practices in farming.

Quality Control

Our farm is vastly more rooted in repeat business than in volume, which means that ensuring the highest quality hops leaving our farm is the single most important thing we do.

Our approach to quality control begins with maintaining the safest equipment and adhering to strict harvest and drying processes that result in hops that have consistent flavor and performance. We developed our own quality control system, called FlavorEdge, to ensure all our hops meet the highest standards. Our farm is GlobalGap certified and undergoes yearly audits from the 3rd party Hop Quality Working Group.  We strive to continually make the improvements necessary to produce hops that meet their strict requirements.
